GreenSky Wind Systems selected for the Stampede Start Up project!

Dear friends of GreenSky Wind Systems,

GreenSky Wind Systems has been selected for the Stampede Start Up project. What does this mean?
It is a business competition that companies from across the east coast (from Boston to Miami) applied. After submission and review of fifty-five business plans, thirteen companies were selected and GreenSky Wind Systems is one of them.


What was at stake?

Free office space for two months and an incredible pool of advisors for your business in the great economic & dynamic region of Durham!
The Stampede is located in the historic American Tobacco Center.

At this stage, the first full-scale Toroidal Wind Turbine is being fabricated and we are all eager to begin its testing.
Of course we hope that the Stampede will enable us to get access to great legal, marketing and financial resources as well as networking opportunities in order to jump start our business and get innovative, efficient and silent wind energy across North Carolina and the United States.

TWT10 coming up

Our Australian partner started manufacturing the TWT10, a 10kW rooftop mounted version of the TWT.
GreenSky Wind Systems will get a machine into North Carolina to be tested in association with the North Carolina Wind Department at Appalachian State University (Boone, NC).
Once this formal accreditation would have been done, sales will start.

GreenSky Wind Systems is looking for people that would be interested in getting the firsts TWT on the East Coast.

Welcome to GreenSky Wind Systems!

Welcome to GreenSky Wind Systems' blog!

My partner and I started a LLC called GreenSky Wind Systems, based in Raleigh - North Carolina.

We are trying to build a prototype of a new expression of wind turbine, called the Toroidal Wind Turbine with a 100kW rating.

This machine has been developed in Australia by a senior  engineer and is more efficient and less costly than any other machines on the market.

GreenSky Wind Systems secured a full commercial license over the Americas and is looking to start up on the East Coast.
We secured a distribution agreement with an US company over the Carolinas, Georgia and Virginia.
We are targeting the US farmers that are trying to cut their electricity costs.

We are looking for investors in order to build a prototype then get it certified by the end of June 2011.
We will start selling in September 2011, and the company will be profitable in April 2012.
